Kendrick lamar in my opinion is one of the best Whitenoise rapper in the game right now. His rediculous flow in rigamortus amazes me as well as his 100% beast flow in look out for detox.
He’s not like any other artist out there, his mind runs wild with art and creativity, he never stops no matter what. The media seems to label him as heartless, an ass, and garbage but he’s nothing like that. You need to look above and beyond him, listen to the “Last call” on the college dropout album you’ll definitely view him differently after peeping that but in a good way.
He’s a very talented musician you just gotta look above him. Ice cube has proved that he is the definition of the term raw in hip hop. From givin’ up the nappy dug out to say hi to the bad guy, ice cube remains one of the most enjoyable albeit controversial rappers in the game. Rakim, must be given recognition in hip hop due to his most classic work, with dj eric.B.
His first eagerly anticipated solo album the 18th letter was a critical success and a present for all of rakim’s fans. Rakim’s best songs include I ain’t no joke, I know you got soul, lyrics of fury, follow the leader, what’s on your mind, know the ledge and the mystery. If you don’t know who rakim is you must go back and explore the excellence of the golden age of hip hop.
Also instead of making you wait for new music while he is in jail, he just releases you albums that you can keep in you’re car for a year and still bump until he gets out because of how good his music is. Not only were his beats good, he had better lyrics than everybody else in his time. And all these rappers we see these days, even all the ones from back then, they all turned out to be sellouts or hypocrites. Eazy always stayed true, he wasn’t afraid to say he represents the grit and violence of street life, and he represented that all the way up to the last day.
